TEAM Marissa exists to honor the memory of Marissa Kay Anderson. Although she spent a brief 25 years on this earth, she lived more that most people do in a full lifetime. Her heartfelt passion was for the special kiddos that she worked with, and we can think of no better way to honor her, than to do all we can within that community, to show them how important they were to her, and how important they are to us.
ON MAY 29, 2018, OUR SWEET MARISSA KAY ANDERSON LEFT THIS WORLD. We miss her deeply, and have founded TEAM Marissa to honor her memory. Through ups and down, trials and tribulations, she never wavered in her passion for the Special Kiddos she served as an ALE teacher. She sacrificed physically, professionally, monetarily, and emotionally for her kids; she pushed buttons and fought battles that left her scarred for these kids that she loved so much. We can think of no better way to keep her passion alive than by attempting to serve the same community. We know with the resources we have available, and the love and prayers of the people around us, we will be able to have an impact. TEAM Marissa strives to:

EVANGALIZE Evangelizing to the families, children, volunteers and teachers. Honoring God as the reason we serve.
ADVOCATE Advocating for the interests of special needs children and families.
MODEL Modeling state of the art classroom in public and private schools through gifts of equipment, curriculum and supplies.
